Tables By Design October 24, 2009 Thank you for your support! “Tables by Design” raises funds to support Good Samaritan Center’s after school tutoring program called “Kids Club”. We truly believe this program is a great benefit for our community. There is also an opportunity to be a Kids Club Angel by sponsoring a child for the cost of $200 a school year. April 24, 2010 Thank you for your support! The Good Samaritan Center holds it's annual 5K Tortoise and Hare Walk/Roll/Run on April 24, starting at 7 a.m. from the Elms Hotel parking lot. Join our community for a fun-filled weekend and a good cause. Proceeds from the event are used to stock the Center's food pantry. Alan Shawn Feinstein $1 million giveaway. This event will be held in conjunction with the Feinstein challenge. What ever you donate to Good Samaritan Center between March 1 and April 30 will be added to from the most successful campaign of all time to fight hunger in our communities. Sponsorships available. Your donation may also be eligible for a federal tax deduction. SPRING SCRAMBLE May 14, 2010 Thank you for your support! The Good Samaritan Center holds it's annual Golf Tournament on the second Friday in May. The tournament is held at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course and benefits the Good Samaritan Center programs.
