Good Samaritan Founder Passes
Sadly, our beloved Fr. Larry Speichinger, who spearheaded the founding of Good Samaritan Center, passed away last Oct. 16. Fr. Larry passed away at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Mo., Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 in Chillicothe, Mo. Visitation services were held at the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Mo. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m. at the church.

Weatherization class to be held
A weatherization class, "Beat The Heat," will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Center.

The food pantry donation can be either money earmarked for the pantry or food items donated directly to the pantry. Non-food items are not eligible for the tax credits.
